Introduction to International Relations: Class Overview
Have you ever wondered how world politics actually works? If so, Introduction to International Relations is for you! In this course, we take a birds-eye view of global politics and try to understand how international systems impact our daily lives and the lives of billions of people around the planet. You will have the chance to research the country or international institution of your choice and present your findings to the class.

Who teaches this class anyway? Hi! I am Michael Sangervasi, and I am excited to say that I will be your professor for your Introduction to International Relations class this semester. It's an honor. Teaching International Relations is what I was born to do! I love it and I know you will too! 😊 I've taught Political Science over the past twenty years at several different colleges and universities in California. Originally, I am from the San Francisco Bay Area, (still a 49er's fan). Personally, my wife and I really enjoy living in Los Angeles, going to Dodgers baseball games, hiking with our dog, biking along the beach, and just living the sunny outdoors lifestyle on the West Coast. We love the diversity of Southern California, it enriches us and helps us to really think globally while acting locally.
